Zoeller Model GX4189 Explosion Proof Effluent Pump Description

Our Model GX4189 nonautomatic explosion-proof effluent pump rated for Class 1, Division 1, Groups C & D or Class 1, Zone 1, Groups IIA & IIB. The 2 HP GX4189 is a nonautomatic pump requiring an intrinsically-safe control panel and intrinsically-safe floats for operation.

The Pump's vortex impeller allows it to pass 3/4" spherical solids. The impeller's clearance in relation to the pump housing allows water and solids to pass freely through the pump. This combination of design feature lessens the chance of clogging and downtime.

The Model GX4189's motor housing, pump housing and base are each constructed of cast iron. The pump's identification tag, handle, and hardware are made of non-corrodible stainless steel. This attention to detail ensures that the Model GX4189 is able to withstand the most demanding effluent applications.
