Zoeller Model BN2282 High Temperature Submersible Pump Description
Model BN2282 Sump and Effluent Pump is designed to work in boiler blow down, hot water transfer, plant wash down, transformer vaults and industrial steam cleaning applications where a pump rated for high temperature is required. The professional-grade, 1/2 HP Model 2282 is known for its dependability in intermittent direct contact applications of up to 200 °F (93 °C). The BN2282 is a nonautomatic pump equipped with a single piggyback float switch. The piggyback switch that is included is also designed for high temperature applications. The piggyback float switch allows you to set the on and off point of the pump in the field. This is ideal in an application with a deep sump pit or pump tank.
The Model 2282's switch case, motor housing, and pump housing are each constructed of cast iron. The cast iron vortex impeller has a smooth surface allowing water and solids to pass freely through the pump. The pump's identification tag, handle and hardware are made of non-corrodible stainless steel. This attention to detail ensures that the Model 2282 is able to withstand the most demanding applications.
Every pump is submerged in water and tested to its published performance curve, ensuring it meets you expectations and delivers peace of mind right-out-of-the-box.
