The Float Management Control from Innovative Utility Solutions, LLC was designed to save wastewater utility companies headaches, time and money!
The recent surge in the use of "flushable wipes" has put a tremendous strain on wastewater utility companies, as they have a tendency of remaining lodged in the mouth of the grinder when the water level inside a tank drops. When the water level and float drop, power is cut off to the grinder even though it is not done chewing up the debris. When the water level does come back up nd the grinder tries to kick back on, it cannot generate the amount of torque required to trun the clogged impeller or blades. The grinder must then be lifted and cleaned out by field personnel before it can function.
The Float Management Control (FMC) mounts inside the electrical panel powering a pump grinder and keeps the grinder from shutting down while it is in the middle of chewing up debris. The grinder will continue to function until the debris is gone. This means that the grinder remains clean and operational so it is ready when needed.
Installation must be performed by a qualified, licensed electrician and will take as little as 15 minutes in most cases.
